Macvin du Jura Blanc

Description

This liqueur wine has been made in the Jura since the 14th century. It is a blend of two thirds grape must with one third marc brandy, which must have aged for at least four years in oak barrels.

Vinification and Ageing

Manual harvest and pneumatic pressing.

After pressing, the juice settles to clarify for 18 hours, before the Jura oak-aged marc brandy is added.

The resulting blend ages in 600-litre barrels for at least three years.
