Crémant du Jura Blanc Brut

Description

Terroir

A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot noir from grey marl soils.

Vineyard predominantly south-east facing.

Vinification and Ageing

These grapes are hand-picked then directly pressed, before fermentation in a stainless steel temperature-controlled vat.

After the malolactic fermentation, the base wine is bottled to undergo its secondary fermentation.

The bottles mature for 24 months on laths prior to disgorging and a dosage of 0.6 g sugar per litre.

Jacques Tissot's Tasting Notes

Bouquet

Pale yellow with golden tints, fine and delicate bubbles.
This wine's nose includes surprisingly fresh aromas of white fruits, bread, brioche and apple.

Palate

A fresh, supple, pleasant and balanced attack which leaves the palate deliciously covered in bubbles. This wine delivers fatness, roundness and strength in the mouth, supporting typical Chardonnay flavours. The finish is accompanied by superb acidity.

Ageing Potential

From two to three years.
